January 2009 was one of, if not the best, month the Vault has had since moving to its own domain in December of 2006! This is probably due in part to the release of "My Bloody Valentine 3D" in theaters, and also because I've been putting a lot of work into the site over the past two weeks. Here's how the Vault did last month:
Unique Visitors: 7,134
Number of Visits: 12,249 (an average of 1.7 visits per visitor)
Number of Pages Viewed: 47,317 pages (an average of 3.6 pages per visitor)
Total Number of Hits for Jan. 2009: 145,154 hits!
Along with the big boost in traffic is the huge boost in Bandwidth usage. The Vault used over 4 GIGS of bandwidth last month, which is about a seventh of the bandwidth I am allocated each month. At this rate, I'll probably have to toss out some more cash for higher bandwidth before the year is through!

April, though devoid of any real updates or new reviews, turned out to be a pretty good month for the Vault with over 60 more unique visitors than I had in March. That's not a HUGE surge in traffic or anything, but its a small step in the right direction. ;-) So let's take a gander at how the site did in April 2008:

Traffic has pretty much reached a plateau at this point. It's not going down much, but not increasing all that much either. SO, once I get some new content on the site, I expect a big jump in visitation. The main problem is of course, getting my big ole butt in gear. Along with a few new reviews and some tweaks to the site's overall design and color scheme, I am also planning on giving away some flicks. I have a bunch of DVDs and VHS tapes that I just can't seem to get rid of, so I'm going to just give them away on the site. How I'm going to do this has yet to be decided, but I figure by the end of this month, or early next, I'll be giving away a brand new "Swamp Thing" DVD (still shrinkwrapped). Stay tuned for more on that.
In life news: I've met with my new family doctor by the name of Dr. Ruggierio and he's a pretty cool guy. According to him, I need to lose a good chunk o' weight. He expects me to lose 20 pounds by the end of July. Sounds easy enough, but if you know me, you'll understand that this is the equivalent of asking me to fly, or solve a calculus equation, or show up ANYWHERE on time. ;-)
My buddy Chris called from college yesterday and apparently he's doing just fine. His roommate is a big nerd, so they get along swimmingly. I'm glad things are going well for you Chris, but could you somehow speed up time because I have NO ONE to hang out with here in the Pennsyltucky wilderness.
To cap things off, being bad with money, I've fallen into multiple pitfalls lately and am having issues with my lone credit card (which has been causing me much grief for the past few months) and now my bank (who seems to WANT me as deep in debt as Chase Financial). By the end of the month I plan to be on sturdy financial ground, but right now.... I'm prepared to whore myself out to get some quick cash. ;-)
Well that's about all I have to chat/rant about. And oh hey, look at the time.... it's time to go to work! YAY! (<----- sarcasm) Take care b-movie fans and keep an eye on the Vault. New stuff is on the way, I promise!

The NY Giants pluck the Eagles; The Vault has its best month EVER!
This past Sunday marked the seventh anniversary of my relationship with my girlfriend Tara. So rather than sit and watch my Giants sack the hell out of Donovan McChoke, I ended up spending quality time with my very special lady friend. :-D
However, despite my missing the game, I was overjoyed to hear that the Giants rocked the Eagles, bringing the Big Blue Wrecking Crew's record to 2-2! With key Eagles players out of the game due to injuries (including running back, Brian Westbrook), a complete inability to stop the Giants defensive line from getting to McNabb (who was sacked TWELVE times!), and a ton of penalties (including an illegal forward pass by McNabb that made a 20 yard touchdown pass irrelevant) , the Eagles simply went down in flames!
The final score of this game:
NY GIANTS - 16 | PHILADELPHIA EAGLES - 3
This coming Sunday, the Giants play another home game, this time against the New York Jets (1-3), who are fresh off a loss against one of the NFL's worst teams: The Buffalo Bills! Good luck this week guys! Show the Jets who New York's best football team really is! ;-)
